Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to Peakly (the “Service”), provided by HyperfocusLab, and explains how the Service collects, uses, stores, shares, or otherwise processes personal information on iOS and Android. The app is listed on Google Play as “피클리 – ADHD 약효 & 루틴 관리”, with the Android package name com.peakly.android. The Service publishes this policy in accordance with Article 30 of Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act.
1. Purposes of processing
The Service may process personal information to provide medication logs, goals, tasks, and routines; analyze and visualize medication patterns, condition, and activity data; provide widgets, reports, statistics, backup, and restore; maintain sign-in and cloud connections; confirm paid-subscription status; respond to support and bug reports; improve quality, analytics, and stability; and provide and measure advertising for free users.
2. Information processed
The Service processes only the minimum information needed for its features.
2.1 Information you enter
Medication records (medicine name, dosage, and time), goals, tasks, routines, notes, and check-ins are processed to provide and visualize Service features. They are stored locally on your device.
2.2 Optional health information
With your permission, the Service may read sleep duration, heart rate, step and activity data, workout records, and medication records in the Health app from Apple HealthKit on iOS or Health Connect on Android where available. This information is used for condition summaries, analysis, reports, and visualizations and is generally processed locally on your device. It is not normally stored on a separate server operated by us. If you include health information in a support request or bug report, or when diagnostics are automatically attached to a support request on iOS (see 2.6), that information may be sent to an external support system to handle your request.
2.3 Optional sign-in and cloud information
Apple sign-in may provide your name, email address, and Apple account identifier. The Service may store a display name and account identifier locally to maintain sign-in. This information is processed locally or within the platform connection you choose for sign-in, backup, and restore. On Android, when you connect Google Drive, the email address of the connected account is stored only on your device to show the connection status and is not sent to our servers. Backup files are stored in your own Google Drive, and we do not access them. The Android app does not create a separate member account.
2.4 Subscription and payment information
The Service processes subscription status, product identifiers, and information needed to verify a purchase or expiration through Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchases. We do not directly collect or store payment card or bank-account details.
2.5 Advertising and analytics
Free users may receive ads through third-party SDKs such as Google AdMob. Depending on platform settings, advertising identifiers such as IDFA on iOS or Advertising ID on Android may be processed to deliver and measure ads and prevent abuse. Analytics services such as Firebase Analytics may process app events (including the fact and time that a feature such as saving a medication record was used, but not the medicine name, dosage, notes, or other record content), device information, app version, and usage statistics to improve the Service, analyze errors, and improve usability. Processing follows App Tracking Transparency on iOS and applicable device and Google settings on Android. Some ads may not be shown to paid subscribers. On the hyperfocuslab.app website, Google Analytics processes the pages you visit, how you arrived (referring site or campaign), browser and device type, approximate location, and a cookie identifier to measure visits and improve the website. You can block this with your browser's cookie settings or a Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
2.6 Optional support and bug-report information
If you contact support, the Service may process the subject and content of your request, an optional reply email address (used only to reply for customer support), device model, operating-system and app versions, diagnostics (on iOS, these include sync and backup status, subscription status, the number of medication records including today’s dose count, and whether Apple Health medication sync is on and when it last ran), an identifier for vendor on iOS or ANDROID_ID on Android, and attachments such as screenshots. This information is received and processed through an external support system such as Google Apps Script for customer support, error analysis, and Service improvement. This information is stored in Google Sheets, Google Drive, and Gmail managed by us. To prevent abuse of reports, we use a hashed form of the device identifier for about 24 hours.
3. Retention
Personal information is retained until its processing purpose is fulfilled. Locally stored data may remain until you delete it or remove the app. Backups may remain in your iCloud Drive or Google Drive until you delete them or disable backup, subject to the relevant platform’s policies. Support and bug-report data is kept for one year from the date of receipt and then deleted during a monthly cleanup. Advertising and analytics providers may retain data under their own policies.
4. Third-party processing
We do not ordinarily sell or provide your personal information to third parties. Depending on features you choose and platform requirements, Apple may process information for Sign in with Apple, App Store payments, iCloud, and HealthKit, and Google may process information for Google sign-in, Google Play payments, Google Drive backup, AdMob, Firebase Analytics, and support processing.
5. Service providers
The Service may use Google AdMob for advertising and measurement; Firebase Analytics for usage analytics and quality improvement; Google Analytics for website visit statistics; Google Apps Script or similar services for support and bug reports; and Apple or Google platforms for sign-in, payments, backup, and health-data connections. Their processing is governed by their respective policies.
6. Your rights and choices
You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing. You can delete app data using reset features or by removing the app. Cloud backups can remain after app deletion and must be removed through iCloud, Google Drive, or the app’s backup management. To delete support and bug-report records, email hyperfocuslab3813@gmail.com and we will delete them; the date you sent the report or your reply email address helps us find the record. You can revoke HealthKit, notifications, ATT, Health Connect, and advertising-related permissions in device settings. To request deletion of other personal information, contact us below; after verifying the request, we will act without undue delay as permitted by law.
7. Security
We seek to follow iOS and Android security guidance, apply least-privilege access, process sensitive information locally where possible, use platform security APIs, and maintain current security updates and libraries.
